  • We aim to reply to all online enquiries within two to four hours during office hours (Mon–Fri 08:00–19:00, Sat–Sun 08:00–13:00). For an immediate response, calling your nearest local office is always the fastest route.

    What if I submit my enquiry outside office hours?

    Enquiries submitted in the evening or early morning are picked up as soon as the office opens. We will contact you first thing the following working day, or on Monday morning if submitted over the weekend.

    Is there a way to request an urgent appointment?

    Yes — call directly and mention your situation. We prioritise bookings where pests pose an immediate health or business risk, such as rat infestations in food premises or active wasp nests near occupied spaces.

  • No. Apex Pest Control does not charge a call-out fee on any domestic service. You pay only for the treatment carried out. Our prices are fixed — you will know the cost before we visit.

    Are VAT and follow-up visits included in the quoted price?

    All prices are subject to VAT at 20%. Follow-up visits are priced separately per service — see our pricing page for details on each pest type.

    Do commercial clients pay call-out fees?

    Commercial pricing is tailored per contract and agreed in advance. There are no hidden charges — everything is set out in a written service agreement before work begins.

    Do you travel to rural postcodes outside the main cities?

    In many cases yes. Rural properties in the S, LS, S60–S66, S70–S75 and adjacent postcode areas are routinely covered. Contact us with your postcode to confirm.

    Is there a travel surcharge for distant postcodes?

    Fixed domestic prices apply throughout our standard coverage area with no travel surcharge. We will confirm whether a postcode falls within standard coverage when you enquire.

  • Include your name, phone number, postcode, the type of pest you have seen, where you have seen it (loft, kitchen, garden, etc.), and how long the problem has been present. The more detail you give, the more accurate your quote will be and the faster we can act.

    Should I try to identify the pest before contacting you?

    If you can, a brief description or photo helps — but it is not required. Our technicians are trained to identify pest species on-site. When in doubt, just describe what you have seen and where.

    What if I am not sure which pest I have?

    Select "General enquiry" in the form and describe what you have noticed — droppings, sounds, damage, or sightings. We will advise on likely species and recommended treatment after reviewing your message.

    What does a commercial contract typically include?

    Contracts are built around your premises and compliance requirements. They typically include scheduled monitoring visits, rodent bait station management, pest activity reports, and a dedicated technician who learns your site.

    Can you provide documentation for environmental health or food safety audits?

    Yes. All commercial contracts include written service reports, site maps, bait station logs and visit records. These are accepted documentation for EHO inspections and food safety management systems such as HACCP and SALSA.

    How is the enquiry form data handled?

    Form submissions are processed via Web3Forms and delivered to our secure business email. Data is not retained on the Web3Forms platform beyond delivery. We store your details only as part of our customer records for the duration of any service engagement.
